Overview
The Los Gatos - Saratoga Recreation Department publishes a calendar of community classes and programs five times a year.

Challenge
The Department previously had no way to update its Web site with current classes and programs, and take online registrations. LGS Recreation also needed a new identity, and a redesigned Web site. One of the biggest challenges was its desire to export the content from its Web site into a Quark document, eliminating redundancy and minimizing costs.

Solution
The new design captures the essence of community, with the concept of involvement and activity. LGS Recreation can now use its Content Management System to update new classes and descriptions, instructors, fees and all pertinent information. A completely customized system enables it to add new categories, or hide classes that are not offered in a particular season. Web Search & Design has made it possible for LGS Recreation to export the entire database, pre-formatted to flow into Quark.

With an innovative look, a newly designed web site, and a content management system that gives it the ability to fully manage the entire process and publish to Web and print, LGS Recreation is ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary in style!
